Who are we?

Our firm is headed up by Farrukh Tufail and Mukthar Miah.

Farrukh graduated with a law degree from Leeds University and was formally a barrister, being called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 1996. In 1998 he re-qualified as a solicitor and was previously a partner in a city centre firm.

Farrukh has considerable experience in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, immigration and family law. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Immigration Law Practitioners Association. He was also formerly a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and the Solicitors Family Law Association (now Resolution).

Mukthar is a property solicitor with over ten years experience gained in some of the largest national legal practices including Addleshaw Goddards, Halliwells and Hammond Suddards Edge. He was formerly a partner in a busy high street practice where he established a successful property department and estate agency.

Mukthar undertakes all aspects of property work including residential conveyancing, re-financing and Islamic mortgages.

He also specialises in the full range of commercial property work acting for landlords, property dealers and developers, often drafting complex leases and contracts.

Mukthar also undertakes all aspects of wills and probate work.
