Ammer graduated with a law degree from the London School of Economics and qualified as a solicitor with Eversheds in 2004.

He has since built a strong reputation in the field of motoring offence law and has successfully represented many clients over the years. He has considerable expertise in driver disqualification proceedings, particularly those relating to excess penalty points and exceptional hardship pleas.

Ammer also has considerable experience as a criminal lawyer and has acted for clients charged with everything from shoplifting to murder and terrorism. He frequently represents clients in the Magistrates Courts and has substantial experience in preparing cases in the Crown Court where he has successfully defended many clients.
